  • Selling Methods
  • SHOW & SELL
    • Scouting Units order popcorn and set up locations where customers purchase the products directly or Scouts go door-to-door taking orders for products and then deliver immediately from their inventory. This method eliminates the follow-up trip.
    • Trails’ End has secured over 7,000 hours of Storefronts at traditionally high traffic locations.
      • Locations are reserved at the best selling times.
      • Storefronts can be reserved on the Storefront Reservations page.
      • Best Hours are highlighted.
    • Units can still contact small businesses for selling opportunities, be sure to track them in the app!
  • ONLINE SALES
    • Scouts create their own accounts to sell online on www.trails-end.com and contact customers to make online purchases on their behalf.
    • Customers make purchases by using the link the scout shares with them and orders are shipped directly to them.
    • Leaders create their own accounts to view their Scouts’ online sales at www.trails-end.com. Once signed into your leader account you can view online sales by Scout.
  • TRADITIONAL SALES
    • Scouts receive order forms (available for download). Scouts go door-to-door and take orders from Families, Friends and Parent’s Co-workers. The popcorn arrives in November. Scouts then deliver and collect the money. Trail’s End App is also set up for Traditional Sales.

  • HELPFUL TIPS
    • 25 cases or less will fit into most standard 4-door Sedans
    • Most Trucks will hold between 25-50 cases
    • Up to 40 cases will fit into most SUV’s (Explorer, Blazer)
    • A topper or a tarp is strongly suggested for trucks
    • Up to 60 cases will fit into most Mini-Vans with no seats
    • For orders larger than 75 cases, enclosed trailers are best.
    • Up to 75 cases will fit into a Suburban with no seats
    • COMING WITH AN EMPTY VEHICLE IS BEST!!!
  • CUSTOMER PAYMENT METHODS
    • Units and Scouts are able to accept Cash, Card, Tap to Pay (Apple or Google Pay as well)
    • Limited amounts of Card Readers are available at the Council Office.
    • Units should be linking their Unit Bank Accounts on the Trail’s End App.
      • This insures a quick and smooth Unit Payout from the Trail’s End System.
