PA Clearances for Existing Volunteers

Existing volunteers must secure and provide the following clearances to Minsi Trails Council

Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal History Background Check (required for all employees and some volunteers) Volunteers use code: 1KG6ZJ

OR

Council PA Resident Volunteer Waiver for Volunteers who have resided in the Commonwealth of PA for the past 10 years, can submit the Disclosure Statement for Volunteers in lieu of the Fingerprint based FBI Clearance.

Clearances are valid for 60 months (5 years) following the inception date noted on each clearance. The window to renew opens on the 57 month.

Beginning on the 57 month, volunteers should begin to secure their clearances to continue their volunteer role.
