BSA Unit Weekend Camping/Facility Rentals

Welcome to the Minsi Trails Council reservation system!  This is where BSA Chartered Units can sign up for weekend camping at Camp Minsi

Only Chartered BSA Scouting units may reserve these facilities i.e. Cub Packs - Scout Troops - Venture Crews. Individual families are not permitted.    

If you are a Non-Boy Scouts of America group, Go no further! Currently we are not accepting reservations for non-BSA groups.

1.  Details on Reservations:

• All reservations MUST be made online, NOT over the phone. 

• The online reservation system opens on August 27, 2024 at 9 AM promptly for the September 15, 2024 through June 9, 2025 Due to summer camp operation, the possibility exists that a camp may be unavailable between June through August.

• Reservations that are made are only temporary and become official once payment is received and applied at Minsi Trails Council .  Review receipt for payment instructions.

• Camp Minsi, facilities, and/or rentals may not be available on certain dates due to Order of Arrow, Special Events, District training, or Minsi Trails Council programs.

• There is NO waiting list for rentals.  Please check back into the system for openings throughout the year.

• If you are trying to make a reservation within 2 weeks of when you want to use a facility, you need to contact council to make your reservation.  You won't be able to do it online.

• CAMP WILL BE CLOSED THE FOLLOWING DATES FOR THE FOLLOWING OA AND COUNCIL EVENTS, HOLIDAYS OR BREAKS

  October 21, 2024 to January 30, 2025 all assets that are past our first bridge will be closed due to bridge construction.  You will still be able to reserve the Weytrex Cabin, Adirondaks, and Lakeside Campsites.

  August 30  - September 1,  2024 (Labor Day Weekend)

  September 6-8, 2024 Fall OA Weekend

  October 4-6, 2024 OA Octoberfest Weekend

  October 11-13, 2024 Cub Fall Family Camp

  November 26 - December 1, 2024  (Thanksgiving)

  December 2- December 15, 2024 (Hunting Season Lock Down)

  December 23, 2024  - January 1, 2025 (Holiday Break)

  April 18 - April 20, 2025 (Easter Holiday)

  May 23 - May 26, 2025 (Memorial Weekend)

• Rental invoices need to be paid and received at the MTC office within 10 days of the invoiced date, otherwise the rental will be deleted.  The mailing address will be listed on the invoice. All checks should be made out to Minsi Trails Council.  

• The possibility exists, where an asset appears to not be available within minutes of the system opening - a registration may have already been secured by another group. 

• Google Chrome works best. If the registration site is down or not functioning properly, please clear your browser's history and refresh the page.  If this does not solve the problem, call the Council Camp Help Desk at 610-465-8557 or email Brian Dungan.

3.  Cancelation/Refund Policy:

• Please notify us of any changes immediately.  Full refunds will only be granted if the unit notifies the Council office 30 days before the first day of your arrival in writing.  All correspondence should be emailed to Council Camping Department Brian Dungan.

• If less than 30 days notice is given, a refund will not be granted.

• Full refunds will be given if Minsi Trails Council cancels a reservation due to special circumstances (acts of nature, emergency situations, etc.)

5.  Rental Policy for District Events

• Entire Facility requires approval from the Minsi Trails Council Camping Committee.
   
• Requests may be submitted no greater then 12 months in advance.
   
• To apply and submit a request for a camp, email to Brian Dungan
